football time in the bluegrass

Hamilton attended 7 college football games this season,
including 5 UK home games.

Auntie Kelse joined us for the UK v. South Carolina game.
UK wins over South Carolina
a week after the Gamecocks defeated #1 Alabama!
Saving a seat for former UK head coach Rich Brooks.
Taking advantage of this rare opportunity to nap
in the biggest, most awesome tailgating chair of all time!
By far the best, most lively tailgating crew in the Green Lot,
if not all of Commonwealth Stadium.

trick or treat!

At Halloween in the Halls
at Jeffersontown High School, where Aunt Danielle teaches.

At the Higginbotham's Halloween party.
Oddly enough, we were the only guests in costumes!

Ready for the trick-or-treaters!

Am I supposed to be the trick or the treat?

Hamilton's pumpkin was just the right size.

Foster doesn't need a costume on Halloween.
He gets mistaken for "Alf," "Falcor" (The Never Ending Story),
"Sandy" (Annie), and a "person in a dog suit" on a regular basis.

My swirly pumpkin doesn't even
come close to rivaling Justin's masterpiece!
The tiny "h" wins the award for cutest design though!

Hamilton turned 3 months old on November 1.
He never turns down an opportunity to smile for the camera!

Hamilton recently discovered his feet.
When he isn't staring at them, they are in his mouth!

This is about as close as I can get to capturing the
"Charron Brook Trout" face on camera.
Hamilton does it well and often!

Hamilton takes after Auntie Kelse with his Elvis impersonation.
He shows off "the lip" at least once a week!

Huber's Orchard and Winery

Our 4th annual trip to Huber's. Hamilton's first, obviously.

At 13 weeks, Hamilton was nearly 2 feet tall and weighed 13 lbs. 5.8 oz.
It's a good thing this little pumpkin belongs to us;
otherwise, someone would have picked him!

Trip #1 to Huber's: Uncle Chris, Aunt Danielle,
Mimi, Bob, and cousins, Peyton and Logan.

Trip #2: Grand D, Auntie Kelse, Aunt Hayley, and YaYa.

welcome home, kelse!

Senior Airman (soon-to-be Staff Sergeant) Charron is home, safe and sound, from her 5-month deployment to Balad, Iraq!

Before October 8, Hamilton had only seen Auntie Kelse via Skype.

He dressed appropriately in his baby BDUs to meet her in person for the first time.

Kelsey plans on dishing out plenty of kisses before she heads back to Dover, Delaware next week.

While she was away, she made bracelets out of parachute cord for the entire family. Hamilton's is especially cute (and tiny), measuring about as big around as a quarter!

2 months old!

Hamilton turned 2 months old on
October 1.

He weighed 12 lbs. 4 oz. and measured 23" long at his 2-month checkup.

Besides cooing, ooh-ing, aah-ing, staring at black and white objects, responding to our voices, focusing on faces, smiling, and working on his laugh, Hamilton loves...

taking showers,

eating his towel...or any item of clothing that brushes up against his mouth,

taking naps with Daddy,

going places, especially with his Wubbanub pacifier,

the Moby Wrap,

the zoo,

kisses,

yawning, and...

snuggling with Mama.

picture mixture (september)

Sleeping with arms up in the air has become the standard.
Guess what else became the standard as of last week?
Sleeping through the night!

Who needs a sofa when you have a Foster?
This chunky monkey weighed in at 11 lbs. 14 oz.
on September 24 (7.5 weeks old).

His cheeks are getting chubbier every week!

Decked out in the "zoo outfit" from the Johnson Family.

Super excited about our first trip to the zoo!

Watching college football at Uncle Gerad
and Aunt Kandi's house in Martin, TN.
