big boy birthday!

Hamilton's 2nd birthday celebration included unusually cool summer temperatures, delicious summer fare, construction-themed cupcakes, and good times and special memories with our dearest family and friends!

Relishing in his birthday serenade.

Personalized cupcake for the birthday boy by Ms. Kara Watkins.

Hamilton, deep in thought, weighing the options for his birthday wish.

After two cupcakes, we realized he wasn't asking for a new one because he didn't care for the cake flavor...he was only interested in the fondant truck toppers.

Our new favorite number!

Hamilton's collection of vehicles multiplied on the day of the party.

Cheering mama on at the Color Run the morning after the party!

Family photo at the Color Run.

Kiki made it home for the birthday bash!

We finished out the birthday weekend with a trip to Great Wolf Lodge with Mimi, Bob, Auntie Danielle, Uncle Chris, PeyPey, Logie, Aunt Bethie, and Cousin Michael.

Hamilton was way more interested in and less threatened by the wolf ears than the water park.

The annual birthday blog would not be complete without a trip down memory lane .  .  .
