catch up if you can!

Happy New Year! Blogging once a month is at the top of my list of resolutions in 2012. It's not that we don't have so much to share...it's just that finding the time to compose an entry full of updates and pictures is the trick!

Hamilton has been going and growing since learning to walk last summer. We are always on the go and rarely at the computer. I thought it would be fun to bring everyone up to speed with a month by month catch up session, complete with flashbacks. Enjoy these highlights from life in the world of Hamilton...

In August, we celebrated Hamilton's Golden Birthday (1 year old on the 1st). 30 family members and friends joined us for a sock monkey-themed summer barbecue. Everything went off without a hitch!

August 1, 2010: 7 lbs. 15.5 oz and 20.25" long.
One year, 16 lbs. and 10" later!

September means only one thing in our house...football season! Hamilton attended 2 UK games and 4 Marshall games, all over the course of 3 months.

October was full of Fall and Halloween-related events and more football, of course. Since we love all things sock monkey, we couldn't resist dressing Hamilton up as one for his first festivities as a trick-or-treater!

Halloween 2010. Our little spider sure has changed!

September and October were busy months for us, so we tried to relax and spend a lot of time at home in November.

One of his favorite things to do: make a mess!
Can you hear me now?

The rumors are true. Hamilton was a UL fan for 1 day.
Bath time is our favorite time of day!
He loves to ride his bike outside AND around the house.
True love.

December is our favorite month of the year, as the holiday spirit is in full effect AND we get several days off work to spend with friends and family. Besides Christmas, highlights of this month include Hamilton's first haircut and a family trip to Chicago.
